About E-cell:
Entrepreneurship Cell at IET Agra is a student body organization, which is just not about Start-ups; it provides exposure to the young emerging ideas & nourishes the enterprising quality in the students. It gives wholesome platform to the students to improve their skills and inbuilt in themselves the quality to accept the challenges globally, as students are the greatest capital where E-Cell can put forward a hand in development. E-Cell promotes the idea of providing better opportunities to innovation and aims to achieve excellence.
Motivation:
Starting get motivated from awareness session and conducted at institute ,students participated in National Entrepreneurship Challenge NEC 2018 (Basic Track) of IITBombay to establish entrepreneurship cell in our college with an aim to emerge as a winner in NEC 2018.The E-cell IITB provided the platform and incubated them through the NEC task (step by step) to achieve the goal.E-Cell IET Agra organized a series of NEC task to spread entrepreneurial awareness and help the start-ups in our campus.In the phase of completing NEC task, students enjoyed, worked hard, faced some difficulties and the most important learnt a lot.
About Start-up Cell and Current Status:
In the initial phase of startup, a cell will be enriched with competent faculties and students with IT and Non IT facilities with proper space allocation in the institute for various activities to be conducted. Through which we will create a highly motivated team of faculties and students. We’ll develop a makers space which enables making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools in different trending fields( IOT, Robotics, Additive manufacturing-3D printing, Cloud Computing, Apps based solutions).In-house competencies will be developed for faculties /mentors which will help their students coordinators and team to generate their ideas into prototype .Cell will help students in getting fund in from different organization like DST ,CST for different Student Clubs activities.
